What more can I say, this is a wonderful product, just what I was looking for.
The phone filter itself works very well. Measurements of the unit would have helped me in my selection. I was able to use this item with a utility knife and file.
My telephone did not fit on it without making major modifications to the plastic front interface. The design of the front interface for the telephone is very poor. I looked all over for a different aDSL wall mount for my telephone, but when I could not find one, I made the modifications. The design of the back interface for the existing wall plate is poor. I needed to make minor modifications to the plastic so that it would fit on a standard metal wall plate.
I needed to buy a couple more for new phone lines that I'm installing, and I have no problem using these filters again. Yes, it's a little thicker than I'd like, but it's really not bad. I bought one of these a while ago when I first got DSL. I've had no problems with it.
Use in-line phone filter such as Linksys BA2LF instead. Avoid since it doesn't fit standard wall mount both in height and depth of mounts.
